Transit detour remains in place

BC Transit is keeping a detour in place on Route 6.

BC Transit is keeping a detour in place on Route 6 that began Monday until at least the end of this week.

The detour is due to Crofton Road being closed for repairs to Otto Bridge, about 365 metres south east of the intersection with Amos Road.

The Duncan - Chemainus route will go from Village Green Mall in Duncan and travel via Lakes and Herd roads to the Trans-Canada Highway to service Mt. Sicker and Chemainus roads, and end at the usual stop at Pine and Daniel.

Buses will follow the same route back to Duncan.

The Duncan - Crofton route will go from Village Green Mall to Crofton, ending at York Avenue near Chaplin, returning at regularly scheduled times.
