Photographer Zerena Caplin captured the beauty of the Aurora Borealis late on Wednesday night at Kin Beach in Chemainus.
She used a 20 second exposure and f/5.6 F-stop on her Nikon D7100 with a 18-105mm 3.6-5.6 lens to capture the shot shortly before midnight. The focal length was 30 mm and ISO at 320.
