Dragon boaters say ‘thank you’

!Tracy Scanlan and Susan Erickson, directors of the Ladysmith Dragon Boat Club, thanked Bud Bell, of Sealegs Kayaking Adventures, and Doug and Michele West, of Ladysmith Marine Services, for all the help the two companies have offered to the dragon boat club over the years. The gift, a picture of the dragon boat team in action, was done by club member Nancy Morgan. With more than enough members for two teams of 29 paddlers, a helmsperson and a drummer, the Dragon Boat club has been an active recreational and sporting organization in Ladysmith Harbour for many years... and a social hub for many members. - Craig Spence
