Stz’uminus Primary students contributes over 90 pieces to student art show

Stz’uminus storyteller Billy Seymour was the guest speaker at the gala opening of the Student Show at the Ladysmith Waterfront Gallery on Saturday.

Seymour performed along with Stz’uminus Primary School School principal Charlotte Elliot, students Anna-Bella and Maria Aleck-Louie and Grade 1 teacher Shanna Mastrangelo, who has curated the show for the school for three years. Stz’uminus Primary students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 contributed 93 pieces in the watercolour, mixed media, tempera and oil pastel mediums.

Seymour performed along with Stz’uminus Primary School School principal Charlotte Elliot, students Anna-Bella and Maria Aleck-Louie and Grade 1 teacher Shanna Mastrangelo, who has been curating the show for the school for three years. Stz’uminus Primary students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 contributed 93 pieces to the show including watercolour, mixed media, tempera and oil pastel.
