Ladysmith RCMP have arrested a person in a rash of recent break-ins in Saltair and Chemainus and are now looking to reconnect homeowners with their stolen property.
A suspect was identified last Wednesday in relation to the thefts at homes south of Ladysmith and made an arrest.
Numerous items believe to be stolen from the affected homes were recovered and RCMP would like to ensure all property is returned to the rightful owners.
