The Town of Ladysmith has asked residents to stay away from the Holland Creek Trail system.
The trail remains littered with fallen trees and large branches as a result of the Dec. 20 windstorm. Parts of the trail are not stable due to the fallen trees, tree roots and erosion due to the heavy rains.
Staff assessment of the loop is continuing and the public will be notified when the trail is safe to visit again.
