It’s with great sadness we say good-bye to a wonderful man. Carl passed away quietly in hospital on February 1st.
Carl is predeceased by his first wife Hilda Sjostrom (1983).
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Heather, daughters, Bonnie Monti (and Glen), Sheila Eaton (and Don), Tammy Renyard (and Gord) and Dawn Paniz (and Umberto), grandchildren, Jamie Monti (and Terri), Julie Monti (and Dick), Nicholas, Abbie, Jacob (Renyard), Allissa, Jessica , Arianna, Kiarra (Paniz), great grandchildren, Breia, Kailyn, Taylor, Teagan and Demetri (Monti) as well as sister Lily Rolfson ( in Alberta) and many nieces and nephews.
Carl spent much of his working life at Crofton Mill where he was a saw filer. Carl’s jokes, crib playing and kindness were well known to many. Carl had a tender heart and was truly loved by his family and friends. He will be missed.
Carl’s farewell would be “ see you in the funny papers.” Not good-bye.
No funeral or service by request.
