Lawrence Ingram

June 10, 1961 – December 23, 2016

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Ingram.  He passed away on December 23rd at Victoria General Hospital surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his mother Betty and wife Cheryl.  He is survived by his father Stan, brothers Mike and Mike (Mary), sisters Sandy (Doug) and Shawna (Jody), children Greg (Laura) and Anna (Kevin) and girlfriend Nikki. Also by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Larry was born and raised in Ladysmith. He was the guy everyone knew and liked. He would give you the shirt off his back and would never ask for anything in return. He was a friend to many. He was great at all sports and loved golfing and fishing.

He lived in Wabamun Alberta for 10 years working as a heavy equipment operator at Fording Coal. He came back to Ladysmith in 1991 and started working as a pipe layer for Knappett before moving on to his current employer, David Stalker. He was an extremely hard worker and loved his job.

He also loved music and probably should have been a radio host. He knew everything about rock music and enjoyed playing the guitar and drums.

Gone too soon, but he’ll never be forgotten!

We love you Larry.

A special thanks to all his work buddies who visited him around the clock in the hospital.

A celebration of life will be held on January 7, 2017 at the Ladysmith Eagles Hall from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
