Ken Wavrecan

July19, 1945-June 16, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, Ken.

Born in Coleman, Alberta, he came to Ladysmith as a small child where he mainly lived until his passing. He began his working career at the CIBC in Ladysmith and then went on to sell R.V.’s and mobile homes until he retired.

Always the life of the party, Ken enjoyed going to the casino and “betting on the ponies”, fishing, and most importantly, golf, which he played 3 times a week until he had to give it up. He later took up gardening & smoking fish & meat.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Mike & Anne Wavrecan and also his lifelong friend Bill Hill. He is survived by his wife Beverley, daughter Danette (Mikael), son Mike, grandson Kellan, sister Dorothy and brother-in-law Carl (Lynda), as well as numerous nieces, nephews & friends.

Please join friends and family as we raise a glass to celebrate Ken’s life on July 15, 2017 from 1-4 at the Eagles Hall in Ladysmith.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

R.I.P. Kenny, we will miss you
