The CVRD has granted Area H director, Mary Marcotte a six-month leave of absence from her director position.
Marcotte’s alternate, Colin Haime will handle day-to-day operations for Area H residents. Haime was duly appointed as director under provincial legislation. Area H respresents North Oyster and the Diamond District.
“[Constituents] can obtain his contact off of the CVRD website. He’ll be dealing with the needs of residents,” CVRD board chair Ian Morrison said. “If any of the residents of Area H have any concerns or questions around the regional district, they can contact either Colin, or they can reach out to me at the CVRD as board chair.”
