A "cute, casual, trendy brunch restaurant," now in their fifth year, Brunch on 3rd continues to thrive.
Tucked away on 3rd Street in Duncan, the old home-turned-eatery offers a wide variety of traditional breakfast and lunch options but with a modern twist.
The front of house staff of Rhonda, Sara, Carley, Carrie, Jessica, and Megan met years ago while working at another restaurant and came together to offer what's now deemed the Best Restaurant in the Cowichan Valley as voted by the community.
“It’s a good atmosphere with great service and amazing food,” said Rhonda Grantham, one of the original six. She said the team is grateful to be headed into their sixth year.
As for what they hope the future will bring?
“More of the same,” Grantham said.
The executive chef Chey Peterson, who hails originally from Calgary, has more than 15 years of experience and came to Brunch on 3rd from The Old Fire House Wine & Cocktail Bar.
