With sharp eyes and unbridled enthusiasm, Ladysmith’s children will be searching for hidden morsels of chocolate and candy at the fourth annual Lion’s Easter Egg Hunt.“It’s a way to give back to the community,” Lion’s president, Betty Anne Herbert, said.The free event features the egg hunt for children up to 8 years old at 11 a.m. and the Easter Bunny.The Easter Bunny arrives on a fire truck at 10:30 a.m. to greet the kids, Herbert said.The Ladysmith Community Police Station is setting a fingerprinting station for children, as well.“That’s always a huge success,” Herbert said.Hotdogs will be for sale and there will be free hot chocolate for children.The event is rain or shine Saturday, April 23 at Transfer Beach.
