Ladysmith celebrates Canada Day at Transfer Beach

Ladysmith community members partied at the park on Canada Day.

On Saturday, July 1, Transfer Beach hosted a multitude of Canada Day festivities including live music, dancing and cake.

The day kicked off with a by-donation pancake breakfast hosted by the Ladysmith Kinsmen Club, and there were opening remarks followed by live music featuring Robbie Hancock, Nate Harris and Dennis Atkins. Stz’uminus Young Wolves Dancers also performed. The annual Celebrate Natural Ladysmith Scavenger Hunt was held throughout the day along with other family activities.
