Ladysmith’s Spring Cleanup Week has been postponed at the request of the municipal garbage contractor.
The contractor advised the Town of Ladysmith that it would be difficult to maintain social distancing for the pick-up of large items as it would require two workers per truck.
In a press release, the Town said they hope large item pick-up will take place in the fall.
“Thank you for understanding this postponement in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping our wonderful solid waste collectors safe and healthy,” the release stated.
