Kit Hayward, casting agent for the show, said that well over 100 people came for the casting call by noon on Saturday.

There was an early rush of people when the call opened at 10:00 am. Hayward said people were very patient and pleasant to work with.

“Everyone’s been fantastic. They were really great. They came in, the filled out their paperwork, they’ve been amazing. We’re really happy. Everyone seems to want to be here,” Hayward said.

Roughly 40 to 70 extras will be needed on set per day of filming to play townsfolk of Patience Colorado. Hayward said the production is still finalizing details of the production schedule, but they hope to get back to successful extras by the week of January 20.
