After a brief closure to update their COVID-19 safety plan, Roberts Street Pizza will open back up on Thursday December 3.
The store closed on November 30 following an inspection by Island Health. Roberts Street Pizza manager, Sean Fisher said the restaurant was required to put a plexiglas barrier between the customer waiting area and the food prep area.
“We’re installing barriers between that area and where customers come in. That’s pretty much the only thing we had to do,” Fisher said.
Island Health has approved the COVID-19 safety plan. Fisher said that no staff members are infected with COVID-19, and no staff have been exposed to COVID-19.
Roberts Street Pizza will be open for delivery and pickup. They will be operating at slightly reduced hours to allow closing staff extra time to complete sanitizing procedures. Roberts Street Pizza will be open 3 p.m. – 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; and 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
