The third annual Hike for Hospice takes place May 1 at 10 a.m. to raise funds to support families facing grief and loss. It is an opportunity to walk two or four km of gently rolling trails at beautiful Providence Farm. This year a naturalist will be on hand to talk about flora along the trails. A peaceful labyrinth is another option for walkers.All pledged walkers are offered a free barbecue lunch and musical entertainment with Bill Levity. The Wellness Room provides reiki, therapeutic touch and other relaxing treatments by donation.Leashed pets are welcome. Registration costs $10.
