An Australian singer, songwriter and one-of-a-kind guitar virtuoso is playing at Maya Norte this coming Sunday.
Daniel Champagne is currently on a cross-Canada Winter Tour that includes stops four stops on the Island.
He brings his musical talents to Ladysmith on Jan. 14.
“It’s not long now until I’ll jump on a plane to come over and play music all across your wonderful country,” Champagne wrote on Facebook last Friday.
The restaurant opens at 5 p.m. with Champagne performing an hour later at 6 p.m.
The artist is touring his recently released 12 track EP Fault Lines.
Champagne has toured extensively across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and New Zealand.
He’s shared the stage with the likes of Lucinda Williams, INXS, KT Tunstall and Ani DiFranco.
