Fans of Tragically Hip gathered at the Ladysmith Resources Centre Saturday, Aug. 20, for the final performance of the nation-wide Man Machine Poem tour, beamed live from Kingston, Ontario. Millions of Canadians coast-to-coast tuned in to the CBC broadcast. Tragically Hip’s Gord Downie confirmed in May that he has been diagnosed with incurable brain cancer.
