Explore unique art and gifts at Crofton Art Group Show & Sale Nov. 2

Longstanding art group in Crofton will feature something for everyone at upcoming show

Some people have their holiday shopping wrapped up by July. Others start scrambling around Dec. 18. For the rest of us, our hunt for the most unique and memorable gifts starts about now. If you’re in that last group, you won’t want to miss the Crofton Art Group’s upcoming show and sale on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will present a diverse array of work including original art from tiny to large-scale pieces, handmade cards, pottery ranging from earthy to whimsical, understated to statement jewelry, and more — all crafted by local artists.

The Crofton Art Group meets weekly on Wednesdays and welcomes new members of all ages and experience levels. With pots of coffee and tea always brewing, the sessions are as much about connection as they are about creativity. The group gathers below the Crofton School House Museum at the Crofton Seniors Centre.
This spirit of inclusivity and community is what has kept the Crofton Art Group thriving for 70 years now and it’s exactly what you’ll find at their show and sale on Nov. 2.

Chat with local artists and find gifts for everyone on your list (and perhaps a little something for yourself) while enjoying a vibrant celebration of local artistry and community at the Crofton Seniors Centre, located at 1507 Joan Ave. beside the ferry terminal in Crofton.
