Lynn's Vitamin Gallery & Health Store, located in Duncan’s Village Green Mall, has been voted as the Best Vitamin/Health Food Store in the region for the second year in a row in the Cowichan Valley Citizen's sixth annual Best of the Valley awards.
The honour comes on the heels of the store’s 25th anniversary celebrations that were held over the summer.
Manager Rekha Sharma said what’s particularly special about being picked as number one in its category in the Best of the Valley awards is that it’s the people in the community who vote for the winners, and that indicates that the staff at Lynn's Vitamin Gallery have a good rapport with its customers.
“We have a real good core staff at the store who know our customers by name and that familiarity makes a big difference,” she said.
“Our customers like to talk to someone in person rather than online. It’s more personal that way and our customers prefer and appreciate it.”

Sharma said another reason for the store’s popularity is that its prices are better than other competitors in the Cowichan Valley, and it also has the largest selection of vitamins in the region.
“We also have seniors’ discounts and a lot of sales, and that has also made us popular in the community,” she said.
