Saltair Marine Services in Ladysmith wants its stolen boat back.

The Silver Bullet, a 17-foot commercial craft with a 90-horsepower engine, was stolen on Sunday night, July 28, from the Ladysmith Fishermen’s Wharf.

Krystal Windsor, a spokeswoman for Saltair Marine Services, said the approximately $20,000 boat was last seen tied to the dock, so someone had to either place it on a trailer of take it by sea.

“We use the boat a lot to assist in moving barges around,” she said.

“It’s very important for the business and we want it returned.”

The Ladysmith RCMP said the matter is under investigation, but police had no leads as of July 29.

If anyone has any information on the theft of the boat, call the Ladysmith RCMP detachment at 250-245-2215.
