Boys and Girls Club selling Pink Shirt Day Pins to support anti-bullying campaign

Pink Shirt Day Pins available at the Ladysmith Boys and Girls Club and Vancouver Island Insurance Centre.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Vancouver Island (BGCCVI) is proudly supporting the fifth annual Pink Shirt Day this Wednesday — a day when communities join together to take a stand against bullying.

We are asking British Columbians to take a stand against bullying and show their support by purchasing and wearing a Pink Shirt, which can be purchased at any London Drugs.

This year, for the first time, we are also offering a Pink Shirt Day Pin. This pin, in the shape of a Pink Shirt, can be worn by those who are unable to wear a Pink Shirt. These are available at your local Ladysmith Boys and Girls Club at 220 High St. and at the Vancouver Island Insurance Centre at Coronation Mall.

Help get our Pink Shirt Day Shirts and Pins on British Columbians. This pink symbol will let people know that you are taking a stand against bullying, that bullying is not OK and that you are willing to do something about it.

Your support can make a difference to the one in four children in Canada who are being bullied each year, according to Bullying Canada.

BGCCVI is a proud member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, the nation’s largest child- and youth-serving organization. We are excited to be celebrating our 40th anniversary of serving the children and youth in our local communities and of remaining “A good place to be.”.
