Police are asking the public to look out for a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for violating his parole.

According to a press release, Nanaimo RCMP seek the public’s assistance in locating Peter Ludvigson, 45, of Nanaimo, who was recently paroled after serving a majority of a federal sentence for property-related offences, including break-and-enter, trespass by night and theft. Ludvigson was ordered to reside at the home of a family member in Nanaimo, but has not been there since early May, police said, and his whereabouts are unknown.

Ludvigson is caucasian, standing 5-feet-11, weighing 220 pounds with red hair and brown eyes. He has a number of tattoos across his upper torso and a tattoo on his lower right forearm which depicts a devil in flames, according to the press release.

Anyone who has any information about Ludvigson is asked to contact Nanaimo RCMP at its non-emergency line, 250-754-2345.
