Chemainus residents will have an opportunity to communicate their views of the proposed North Cowichan budget at a March 19 meeting sponsored by the Chemainus Residents Association.
The meeting's format will include a presentation of the draft budget by Mayor Jon
Lefebure and staff, as well as small group discussions to identify what's good in the budget, what's a problem and what citizens don't understand. The mayor and staff will be asked to respond to those concerns and questions.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the upper room of the Chemainus Senior Drop-In Centre at 9824 Willow St. For more information, contact Bernie Jones at bj@communitydeveloping.ca.
