Ladysmith’s draft Official Community Plan (OCP) is now available to read and residents can help to make sure it accurately reflects the community’s input and future vision.

A public engagement event is planned downtown (1st Avenue and Gatacre Street) on Saturday, June 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. At the event, you’ll have an opportunity to review the draft OCP in greater detail, provide feedback on the specific policies and speak with Town staff and our project consultants.

Feedback received through this engagement will be incorporated into the OCP before council receives it again for discussion and endorsement later in 2022.

If you can’t make the event, email your input to ocp@ladysmith.ca.

Click here to watch the Jennifer Fix, consultant for the OCP Review, present the draft document at the June 7, 2022 Council meeting.
