Come on down to Transfer Beach on Saturday night and cozy on up next to the bonfire.
The event is a fundraiser for Ladysmith Kinsmen community initiatives and held at the same time as the Mt. Brenton Power & Sail Squadron Christmas sail past.
Both events were cancelled last year due to poor weather and it looked like the bonfire might not take place again this year.
Kinsmen confirmed on Friday that it’s a go and hot chocolate, hot apple cider and hot dogs will all be available by donation.
The bonfire gets started at 5:30 p.m. with the sail past taking place from 6-8 p.m.
