RCMP are warning residents of a couple of scam artists targeting seniors in the Ladysmith area.
Two males pretending to be roofers offered their services to two elderly residents at a mobile home park, Jan. 20.
The residents agreed to have work done for a very low price.
The residents also paid the workers up front.
After approximately one hour, the roofers left the area, having only spray painted the air vents with black paint.
The males carried no business cards and the receipts provided had no information on them.
