Police responded to a complaint that a male had exposed himself to a woman who was waiting for the bus on Friday morning at 11 a.m. in Campbell River.

The woman was at a bus stop on Alder Street when she saw the male walk across the street toward her and as he passed by her, he exposed himself. The male turned around and again exposed himself as he walked by. The woman yelled at him and the male ran away eastbound on Rockland.

The suspect male is described as Caucasian, scraggly blond hair, between the ages of 17 and 19 years, wearing a beige jacket and burgundy pants. Police are asking that if anyone saw the male or knows of a similar incident to call the Campbell River RCMP Detachment (250-286-6221) or Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477). This investigation is still open.

“We do not have any other reports of this nature,” said Cpl. Ron Vlooswyk of the Campbell River RCMP. “It’s important for people to call in any strange incidents so we can conduct thorough investigation and pass information to the public.”
