A 56 year-old Chemainus man is recovering from injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with a car

A 56 year-old Chemainus man is recovering from injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with a car turning left into his path on the southbound lane of Highway 1 at Roberts street in Ladysmith. The accident occurred Wednesday, March 30, at about 4 p.m. The motorcyclist was treated for a broken leg, ribs and other injuries after the crash. The 64 year-old woman driver was also taken to hospital, but did not sustain serious injuries. The accident is still under investigation Cpl. Rick Fraser of the Ladysmith RCMP detachment said. No charges have been laid.
