A thief didn’t just take tools from a local craftsman earlier this month.
He also struck a blow against charity.
According to Ladysmith RCMP, an unknown person or persons entered the backyard of a residence in the 200 block of Methuen Street in the early hours of April 7.
Taken was a Rigid grinder, Porter Cable biscuit joiner, Shopmate drill and Makita drill.
“The victim is a local unsung hero in Ladysmith and good Samaritan who often helps out various charities and volunteers his time,” Const. Tim Wang said.
“The tools were used to make gift prizes for these worthy causes.”
