Alan Francis

August 6, 1929 - July 15, 2022

With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alan Francis (Al) at home on July 15, 2022.
Al was born in Hedley BC and raised in New Denver and Salt Spring Island. He joined the army after high school and worked for the federal government for twenty-five years. He was also an avid boater with three vessels named Moma's Mink.
He is predeceased by his mother Edith Ward, father Dr. Arnold Francis, brother Don Francis, sister Marge Whitehead, his wife Phyllis and third son Brian Francis.
Alan is survived by his sons Arnie, Ron, and Geoff Francis. His grand children Mark, Michael, Kami, Kym, Ryan, Carly and Kyle.
He will be fondly remembered by his dear friends Brian and Robin Monk, Sue Loveless and Ted Giles.
A celebration of Life will be held at the Legion in Ladysmith on August 6th 2022 at 1 pm.
