Born on July 23, 1936 this brave man died peacefully on his own terms at 3:40 am, August 22, 2006 in
Victoria. BC.
Surrounded by the love and support of his wife, daughters and friends,
Allan was able to win this final battle.
Survived and forever adored by his wife of 48 years Margaret. Allan is also survived by his adoring daughters Donna Brunskill and Debbie
DeKelver (Robin)  Grandson Cory Allan DeKelver. Allan is survived by his Mother Ruth and was predceased by his Father Stan in 2005. Allan is survived by relatives and an immense amount of friends.  A successfull grocery career took the Johnson family to Vernon, White Rock, Nanaimo and finally to Chemainus where he owned and operated
Family Foods. With Marg they also opened Small Tall Treats. He was proud to have been  Past President of the Chemainus Rotary, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Board of
director of the Chemainus Historical Society and with Margs support he contributed generously to many organizations and community needs. His community enthusiam and dedication was above excellence and he leaves many a legacy throughout the town. As a family man and friend, Al made sure you had a good time and a good laugh and would help you in any way he could. A succesfull and fun card player he enjoyed his slots, KFC nights, movies, boating, holidays and jokes. Johnson was a true loyal friend  in every sense of the word.

The Family wishes to thank everyone who helped Allan during his proud and dignified journey with Parkinsons disease over the past 20 years.
