ANNE PEARCE

Anne Pearce, age 95, passed away February 20, 2008 at the Ladysmith Lodge following an illness. Her husband John Pearce, and her daughter Ann Russell preceded her. She is survived by her son John Pearce and daughter Shirley Paul; grandchildren Matthew Rickett, Carolyne Rickett, Stacey Russell and Kristen Olson, Kelley Wells along with six grandchildren. A private celebration of life is planned.
Anne was from a pioneer Canadian family who traveled from Quebec to the prairies of Saskatchewan in the horse and buggy days. She met her husband and after many travels settled in Ladysmith in 1975. She was a lover of dolls and flowers, restoring many dolls for the children and collectors of Ladysmith, and keeping the flowers at her home on 3rd Avenue in colourful bloom.
