December 14, 1937 - January 13, 2019
It is with great sorrow that we announce Anne Robson (nee Graham) passed away peacefully in her sleep. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years Gordon her brother Gary (Lorna) and her children, Gordon, David Johnson, Michael (Laura) and Laura (Mark) and grandchildren Kira and Angus.

She and Gordon travelled the world together and had many adventures including visiting the Temple of the Tigers in Thailand, Petra and The Hall of Justice in Hafai, Isreal.

It was an adventure to go walking with Anne, as you were guaranteed to make new friends. She was famous for her love of all animals but she was especially fond of dogs. She never met one she didn't like and she never passed one without stopping the owner to say hello.

Her infectious love of life and genuine interest in helping others was demonstrated through her extensive volunteerism. Some of the agencies that benefitted from her passionate approach to life were the BCSPCA, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Chemainus Theatre, the Parrot Refuge and the Ladysmith Health Care Auxiliary Thrift Store.

She faced her illness with grace and dignity and the knowledge that long lost loved ones were waiting to greet her on the other side. She was looking forward to being reunited with many of her beloved pets that had crossed the Rainbow Bridge ahead of her and the ability to eat copious amounts of chocolate without gaining an ounce.

A celebration of Anne's life will be held on Sunday February 17th from 2-5 pm at the Fox & Hounds in Ladysmith. All are welcome to join. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice are appreciated.
