She was a pioneer oyster farmer and worked many long and hard hours along side her father, husband and brothers to build the Timothy Oyster Company which is now in its fourth generation.

After her husband died, she joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles and her Eagle Brothers and Sisters were truly her family. She rarely missed a meeting in the 22 years that she was a member and she was a “Past Mother” of the Auxiliary.

She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. (Private interment in Ladysmith Cemetery). Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ladysmith Eagle’s Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
