1933-2005
Succumbed to cancer, May 26, 2005, at home in Ladysmith, BC, with loved ones around him. He was born in London, England, April 26th, 1933.
He died as he had lived, a gentleman - kind, loving and with impeccable manners. He leaves behind his wife, Maureen Millar, and three sons and their families: Ian, Kelli, Melissa, Ian, of Aggasiz; Bryan, Melanie, Maxx, of Port
Coquitlam; and Gordon, Kate, Jacquie, Bradley, Theresa of Cedar. Predeceased by his first wife of thirty-eight years, Barbara, in 2000. He will be sadly missed by us all, as well as by friends and neighbours. Arthur, we hope you’ll soon be enjoying badminton, tennis, golf, bowling, dancing, soccer and a cold brew on the other side with pals who have gone ahead.
Relax for awhile before St. Peter recognizes your administrative talent and prosperity with figures and puts you to work.
A private memorial service will be held at Oyster Cove. If you wish, you may
remember Arthur with a donation to the Ladysmith Hospital Auxiliary, Box 1151, Ladysmith, BC, V9G 1A8.
He thought the hospital needed new pillows!
