in Duncan, B.C. on October 16, 2004. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark June 12, 1921. Formerly of Calgary, Alberta, having moved to Cobble Hill in 1979. Bent was a member of Rotary Duncan, B.C., Chairman of United Appeal Duncan, B.C., member of the board Cowichan District Hospital and a member of the Seniors Advisory Committee. Survived by his loving wife Yvonne of 45 years, sons: Peter in Denmark, and Michael (Jerri) of Lethridge, Alberta, daughter Debbie (Greg) Cousins of Calgary, 8 grandchildren: Jennifer, Rene, Benjamin, Rebecca, Terahlynn, Megan, Errinne and Sean, also 3 great grandchildren, brother John in Denmark. Nephews: Torbin and Alan and niece Benta all of Denmark.
A gathering will be held at the residence 1428 Ellison Place, Cobble Hill, B.C. from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2004. (Private interment in the Queen’s Park Cemetery, Calgary, Alberta).
