Peacefully in Nanaimo, BC, July 10, 2004, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, January 1, 1920. Loving wife of the late Wilfred Cowan. Survived by her son John (Heather), daughter Mina (James) Philip, grandchildren: Michael (Juliette) Philip, Terri-Lynne (Lee) Campbell, Kathleen (Brian) Beattie, John Cowan Jr., Angela (Robert) Prescott and Sara Cowan. 8 great-grandchildren. Bertha was a past member of the R.C.L. Private cremation by request. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services.
