BETTY EUGENNIE
A native daughter of Ladysmith, passed away in the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on September 30, 2009, at the age of 57 years. Born in Ladysmith on August 9, 1952. Predeceased by her parents: Mae & Alphonse Delcourt. Survived by her loving husband, Douglas; daughters: Tonya (Jason), and Courtney; sisters: Shirley Barr, Diane Hill (Joe), and Brenda Seltenich (Ken); brothers: Brian (Lynn), Ray (Bev); and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses in the I.C.U of the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for their dedication and support to Mrs. Hawkins.
A private family inurnment will be held on October 16, 2009 at 11:00a.m. in the Ladysmith Cemetery. Following the inurnment, friends are invited to join the family at the Eagles Hall on 1st Avenue between 1:00-4:00p.m. for fellowship and refreshments.
