Blanche Irene (nee Nault) CORDICK

Our mom was born in St. Malo, Manitoba March 1, 1910 and passed away in Victoria, BC on February 9, 2006. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary (Villeneauve) Nault and all her siblings, her first husband Bill Cordick, 1968, her second husband Bernard Henzie 1990, her son Tim 2002 and daughter Leona Alcock 2005.

Survived by her children Ramona (Fred) Williams, Nanaimo; Floyd (Dorothy), Cold Lake, Alberta); Lorraine Cordick, Victoria, Clayton (Bernadette), Victoria; Keith (Denise), Edmonton; Roy, Victoria; Ann (Ivan) Dumas, Jonquaire, P.Q.; Denisse (Paul) Girardet, Victoria; also 32 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was much loved by all close to her. Blanche was the proprietor of the “Canteen” at the Yarrow’s Shipyard for 27 years. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, West Burnside Rd. and McKenzie Ave., Victoria, followed by cremation. Special thanks to Dr. O. Hayes, to Beacon Home Care staff and to the staff of 6-C at V.G.H., for their excellent care of our mom.
