HORBATY, BYRON PATRICK
28 March, 1971 – 26 March, 2008
After a brief courageous battle with cancer, Byron passed away peacefully at home late Wednesday night surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Lea and Ed, brothers, Michael and Darren, his grandfather Wesley Boyd, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends here and around the world.
We will all reflect back on his life and cherish the memories we had with him and the love he left in all of us.
A celebration of Byron’s life with a Mass of the Resurrection, presided by Father J. Singarajah, O.M.I., will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chemainus, B.C., on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary, Victoria or the BC Cancer Foundation, Victoria.
