Charlie passed away on Monday, May 15, 2006 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Charlie is survived by his son Ed (wife Liz), daughter Linda (husband Dave). Granddaughters Kristin, Jacqueline, Eliza and Richelle, brother Art (wife Carol).
Charlie was widowed form his first wife Bessie in 1998 while living in Timberlands Trailer Park. He spent the last few years of his life living happily at Nanaimo Traveller’s Lodge where he passed.
The family would like to thank his neighbours and friends at Timberlands Trailer Park and Pub who made his life easier the last few years there.
We would also like to thank all the staff at The Nanaimo Traveller’s Lodge for the excellent care and compassion they showed Charlie during his stay.
The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if they wish, friends make make their donation to The Alzheimers Society on Charlies behalf.
