Suddenly in Saltair, B.C. on October 30, 2004.
Born in Chapel House Elswick, Lancashire, England May 14, 1915. Charles immigrated to Canda in 1953. He taught at Henderson Elementary School, Powell River, B.C., Ladner Elementary, Mnistrel Island Elementary, Chemainus Secondary, Mt. Brenton Elementary, Oaklands Elementary, Davis Road Elementary and Ladysmith Intermediate School. Survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Rosina (nee Samuel) lovingly remembered by brothers: Vincent, Middleton, sister Mildred, sons: Timothy (Gail), Lawrence (Lexi), and Middleton. Predeceased by brothers: Lawrence, Dennis and Frank, sisters: Ada and Gladys and loving grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 3:00 pm in Chemainus United Church with Rev. Diana Astle officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ladysmith Hospital would be appreciated
