It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Martin Mercer on March 27th, 2018, at the age of 84.
Born February 22nd, 1934, Charlie is pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law Kathy, and lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Helen, his children, Steve, Carol Ann, Scott (David), and his grandchildren, Danielle (Becky), and Sean (Tessa).
Charlie and Helen happily spent the past year at La Rosa Gardens in Ladysmith surrounded by the kindness and support of staff, residents, and friends. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him would agree he was both a gentleman and a "gentle man", and we will remember him in our hearts.
There will be no service by request.
