Beloved mother and grandmother. Passed away in Duncan, B.C. on November 5, 2002.
Born in Viceroy, Saskatchewan November 6, 1921. Late resident of Cobble Hill, B.C. Survived by her loving husband of 61 years Bernard, 5 sons: Clarence, Fred (Pat), Richard (Marion), Robin (Brenda) and Grant; 3 daughters: Delia (Charles) Goucher, Wendy (Nick) Hammond, Sheila (Richard) Furbacher. Grandchildren: Vicky, Warren, Rhonda, Julie, Ronald, Nicole, Bernie, Doug, Curtis, Genevieve, Nathaniel, Dominique, Mark, Sherry, Michelle, Tristan, Danielle. Great Grandchildren: Mark, Emily, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Nickolas, Joseph, Siyam and Alison. Sisters: Gunhild (Bert) Greenfield, Ella (Pete) Carroll and Elsie Berchard. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Prayers: were held Friday, November 8, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church, Mill Bay. Funeral mass was celebrated Saturday, November 9, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by interment in the St. Francis Xavier cemetery. Fr. I. Wang celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Lung Association would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary.
