Darren “Troy”
died on April 5, 2004 in Ucluelet, B.C.
Born in Victoria, B.C. May 31, 1972. Dearly loved and will be forever missed by his parents Curtis and Glenys, brothers Jason and Brice, grandmother Thelma Mee, uncles and aunts: Terry (Kelly) Purden, Bryan (Robin) Mee and aunt Penny. Cousins: Jessie, Daniel, Dustin, Michelle, Kerry, Dwane, Keith, Shaun and Darcie, also many friends.
Troy created music and played guitar with Mike Brack (for 9 years), satisfying a major passion in his life. Troy delighted in travelling, surfing, snowboarding and enjoying adventures with his friends. There will be two memorial services: Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ucluelet Recreation Hall, and on Sunday, April 18, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the University of Victoria Inter-faith Chapel, Rev. R. Attwell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a “Troy Purden Memorial Fund” has been set up through any branch of the C. I.B.C. account #16-52338 at branch 4930.
The family is overwhelmed and grateful for the wonderfully warm support from the communities of Ucluelet and Victoria. We will always treasure the charismatic brilliant “comet” that lit up our lives. Arrangements confidently assigned to Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services.

BUSSEY,
Alan “Bronson”
passed away suddenly April 8, 2004 in Nanaimo Hospital. Born October 2, 1925. Predeceased by his mother and father & older brother Mel.
Alan leaves to mourn is wife Gloria of 55 years, one daughter Ona, Sons: Will and Lee (Michelle), and Gordon (Rhonda) also 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild and many other relatives and friends. Alan was a past member in the Masonic Lodge in Prince Rupert, B.C., having just recently received his fifty year pin. He will be truly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in Brechin United Church. Arrangements confidently assigned to Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services.
