ALPHONSE,
Chief Dennis Alphonse, passed away in Duncan, B.C. March 7, 2004, after a lengthy illness, born in Duncan, B.C. January 27, 1933 to Christopher and Helen Alphonse. Predeceased by his son Joseph 1978. also sister Marie and brother Ramsey. Survived by his loving wife Philemena, children: Caroline, Lucy, Dennis Jr., Christopher, Paul, Francine and John. Sisters and brothers: Catherine, Ronald, Violet, Mary, Rose, Harvey, Curtis, Debbie, Randy, also aunts, uncles and cousins. Prayers were held on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 7:00 pm in the Se’em Leelum gymnasium. Funeral Mass was celebrated in the Se’em Leelum Gymnasium on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 9:30 am. Father J. Rossitter and Fr. F. Franz celebrants, followed by interment in the Ste. Annes Cemetery. Arrangements confidently entrusted to Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services.
