DONNA (BEATTY) THOMPSON – passed away peacefully in Chemainus, BC after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Victoria, BC March 01,1947. Survived by loving daughter Cindy (Mike) Byce of Ladysmith and son Don (Diana) Thompson of Peachland BC, her four grandchildren: who meant the world to her: Mackenna and Avery Byce, Rylan and Lindsay Thompson, her sister and brother-in-law Trish and Jim Dyke and nephews: Rick, Sean and Michael of Campbell River. Also many other loving family and friends who surrounded her with love. Predeceased by her loving husband Malcolm Thompson in 2001, by her parents Donald Beatty 1999 and Yvonne Beatty 2007 and her nephew Curtis Dyke 2002. A special thank you to all her friends and colleagues at the CHCC who went above and beyond to ensure a peaceful journey for Mom. “We Thank You All”. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chemainus Health Care Centre in Donna's memory would be appreciated. “We love you Mom” A Celebration of life was held at 2:00 P.M.
