1939-2020 ~ The Family of Donnalou Thompson of Chemanius are deeply saddened to announce her passing June 4th, 2020.
Donna was born on the family farm in Kelvington Saskatchewan in 1939, the youngest of four. Her family then moved to Winnipeg, where she met her life partner Barry Thompson.
Mom had an eye for a man in a uniform. She lived the military life moving every few years while travelling the country. Together they raised four children.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Martha Gunness. Brothers Robert {Elsie} Evert {Ella} and Alex son in law Patrick Byrne. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Barry Thompson children Lorelei, Sylvia,Suellen and Alfred Joseph. Grandchildren Sarah, Vincent, Paddy, Mick, Danny, and Joe and four great- grandchildren & numerous nieces and nephews.
